Northern, RI – It’s Friday, northern Rhode Island and while it may have come fast thanks to the short work week, that’s no reason not to get out and enjoy yourself once again this weekend.
While some local businesses are closed this time of year to allow employees to enjoy some sun – including The Taco Shop, Johnny’s Victory Diner and Art Box Studio, to name a few – there’s still plenty happening in northern RI.
The Riverwalk Times Concert series kicks off with Brass Attack Sunday night, and in North Smithfield, a full day of free offerings for Heritage Day will keep locals entertained, culminating in a fireworks display. Don’t forget the Fierce MusicFest and Sunday in the Village to close out your free time.
As always, however you spend it, we hope you enjoy yourself this weekend, and consider these great local events and venues.
