BURRILLVILLE – I attend numerous charity events, classic car and truck shows, cruise nights, community events, malls, plazas, car washes, libraries, daycares, grade schools, community centers, police and fire department open houses, barbecues and musters, theme parks, miniature golf courses, ice cream stands, race tracks, drag ways, live radio remote broadcasts along with area businesses and restaurants throughout the year distributing child passenger, vehicle and other safety themed topics coloring formats, stickers, posters and fridge magnets for free to kids. This is my 25th year.
One of the increasingly popular formats are kids safety coloring placemats. They are even falling into the category of table top coloring placemat posters kids can color in and bring home after their meals. The Crossings Restaurant, located just over the Rhode Island border in Putnam, Conn., puts their kids safety coloring placemats on display in the lobby and waiting area after the kids color them in. The owners say it’s so other kids and parents can see the colored in cartoons along with the important safety tips and messages. Every Tuesday, until the end of September, a Buckleupallofus charity classic car and truck show is hosted at The Crossings Restaurant and Centreville Bank directly across the street where the show vehicles park from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., weather permitting. Kids receive coloring posters and fridge magnets featuring the popular award-winning child passenger safety and vehicle safety giant mascot cold-air balloon on display at this, and many other area car shows for free.
Buckleupallofus is recognized across the region and USA as the only child passenger safety and vehicle safety cartoon character mascot over the past 20 years. Tens-of-thousands of little kids receive Bucky coloring cartoons and products for free nationwide throughout the entire year. Hot Rods Unlimited, located in California, has been distributing Bucky cruisin’ safety coloring posters over the past few months at car shows and events, which are extremely popular with automotive enthusiasts, kids and families in that state. Coloring placemats are also distributed to kids at Big Bob’s and other locations. Hot Rod Tramps World media group is distributing Bucky coloring posters across the states of Arizona, Nevada and Oregon. This also includes kids safety coloring placemats at restaurants. Car Show Nationals, located in the state of Minnesota, has been distributing Bucky coloring posters at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Brainard Dragway, classic car and truck shows as well as live radio remote broadcasts over the past few summers. Now, police departments across the state of Minnesota are doing the same thing in their cities, towns and communities by passing out Bucky safety coloring posters to kids and families hoping to keep them safer on roadways and highways statewide. Lav’s Muscle Car Garage, located in Punta Gorda, Fl., is now passing out Bucky child passenger safety and vehicle safety coloring cartoons to kids at classic car and truck shows and community events reminding kids and parents to be safer on Florida roadways and highways.
Kids Safety Coloring Placemats are gaining traction and becoming very popular with restaurants and diners and the kids and parents are being reminded about their safety on a daily basis across the United States with these creative coloring formats and product giveaways. This Sunday Feature coloring cartoon is an actual kids safety coloring placemat being placed on table tops in front of kids and adults every single day at The Crossings Restaurant. It even features a Kids Menu with food options and prices, and is sponsored by Daigle Law, Centreville Bank, Putnam Police Department and the restaurant owners. Stop by on Tuesday evenings and check out our classic car and truck show and enjoy a great meal throughout the summer and fall, weather permitting. Plenty of free Bucky safety items will be available for the kids to take home, especially, Buckleupallofus Kids Safety Coloring Placemats inside the restaurant, which are fun for the entire family.
