Northern RI – Welcome to The Weekend northern Rhode Island – your guide to the best local events and fun taking place right in the small towns in our corner of the state.
This week, we get things started early with plenty to do on Thursday evening. Summer is short, after all.
The North Smithfield summer concert series kicks off Thursday, July 20 with All About Amy at the grounds surrounding Town Hall. Both Burrillville and Glocester also have plenty of free, outdoor music this week at events including the Riverwalk Times Concerts and Sundays in the Village, and businesses with outdoor venues, including The Island, Hill’s Tavern and Lindy’s Plastic Palace have a full lineup of bands.
For those who prefer to stay cool indoors, we list crafting workshops, music bingo, meat raffles, theater and more.
Did we miss anything? Send your news, special events, fundraisers and more to [email protected].
