BURRILLVILLE – The Li’l General store at 485 Chapel St. in Harrisville sold one of two $10,000 winning tickets for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing, according to officials with the Rhode Island Lottery.

The record jackpot was at an estimated $1.58 billion on Tuesday, August 8, and was hit by a lucky ticket-holder in Florida. Lotto officials noted that the prize was worth around $783.3 million in cash.

In Rhode Island, the two $10,000 Mega Millions tickets were sold; one in Harrisville and one at Mobil Food Mart on Kingstown Road in South Kingstown. The prizes have yet to be claimed.

Both tickets matched four numbers and the Mega Ball to win the standard prize payout. The numbers for Tuesday’s drawing were 32, 19, 13, 33 and 20. The Mega Ball was 14.

The winners did not purchase the Megaplier feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If they had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by two to equal $20,000.

Friday’s estimated Mega Millions jackpot is $20 million.
