The Third Way
The Care Concierge of New England and Gold Door Realty, both North Smithfield-based businesses, are offering a presentation on Tuesday, August 22 called “The Third Way: What is ‘Assisted’ Living?”
“Families typically have a lot of questions about what Assisted Living is and isn’t,” said Paul Jones, owner of the Care Concierge, a senior-care focused referral agency working in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Concierges work with families to navigate senior care and/or living options, including Assisted Living and Dementia Care. “I have seen first-hand how overwhelmed families can become while trying to figure out all the different senior care options. Our hope is this presentation will give families an opportunity to ask questions and dispel some misconceptions they might have about senior care.”
The presentation will give attendees the opportunity to learn what assisted living is, the different types there are, and how to pay for it. It is being provided free of charge at the office of newly established Gold Door Realty, owned by Kamil Sarji. Opened in 2023, Gold Door Realty is an independent brokerage with agents licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. The event will be held at the agency’s co-op space at 585 Smithfield Road starting at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to RSVP to (401) 343-7007.
