Tornado damage

The Glocester Emergency Management Agency wants to hear from any residents who have property that was damaged by flooding or the tornado that touched down in Glocester around Bungy Road between September 11 and September 13. According to EMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is evaluating if the storm is eligible for federal disaster funding.

Those with property damage are asked to email Glocester EMA at [email protected] with their name, address, description and cost of the damage.

Sweets, treats

The Ponaganset High School Class of 2025 is holding a Sweets & Treats fundraiser, selling Cherrydale Chocolates with 40 percent of proceeds to benefit the class and upcoming activities. Chocolates can be purchased at shopfund.com/shop?sid=2039121 using class code NEV14300.

Fall bazaar

The Glocester Senior Center at 1210 Putnam Pike will hold a Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bazaar will feature a variety of artisans, vendors and crafters, and the center will also sponsor a bake sale, sewing table, plant table and penny social raffle.

Trick or Treat Main Street

The Glocester Business Association’s annual Trick or Treat on Main Street event will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 from noon to 3 p.m. in Chepachet Village. Businesses and organizations have been invited to participate will be included on a treasure map. Families are asked to bring a canned good for donation to the Glocester Food Pantry to take part.
