The North Smithfield Parks & Recreation Department has announced that the town’s annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo by Town Hall at 83 Green St. The event will featuring caroling, music, crafts, cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.
