BURRILLVILLE – February school vacation week is now over, and it is very important to remind kids about school bus and bus stop safety.
The Bus Stop Kids cartoon characters reminds kids to always wait for a school bus monitor to help them safely cross streets heading toward, and walking away from, stopped school buses. Kids should never run across streets for any reason. The school bus monitors are there to make sure that kids get back and forth to school safely throughout the school year. The school bus monitor will let students know when it’s safe to cross streets. Never just go ahead and cross any street unless it’s completely safe to do so.
This Sunday feature includes a coloring and activity cartoon with a school bus maze route headed to pick up the Bus Stop Kids cartoon characters waiting at a neighborhood bus stop on their way to school. Kids can follow the correct bus route with a pencil, pen, crayon or a colored marker in order to pick up the waiting students and then color in the cartoon before displaying on the family refrigerator in homes and apartments for everyone to see.
Cross streets safely kids.
