St. Clare Class of 1973 reunion
The St. Clare High School Class of 1973 will celebrate their years together on Saturday, April 20, in Woonsocket. The class has the distinction of being the very last class to walk the polished halls of the former St. Clare High School on Park Avenue in Woonsocket, now home to Chateau Clare, before it closed its doors forever to the sound of young women and Religious of Jesus and Mary nuns.
Several classmates have joined forces to get out the word, hoping that the information is widely shared, resulting in a great event with classmates and teachers coming together to share memories.
Former classmates Louise Hazebrouck, Paulette Savard and Connie Renaud are hoping that many women who attended the school and who want to remember the final days as students, will come to the gathering on Saturday, April 20 from noon – 4 p.m. at Savini’s Pomodoro Restaurant on Rathbun Street in Woonsocket. For more information the team has started a facebook page “St. Clare High School 50th Reunion”. Anyone interested is encouraged to reconnect through Facebook or email Louise [email protected] or Paulette at [email protected]. More details will follow.
