Northern, RI – Welcome to The Weekend northern Rhode Island – and Happy Easter!
With the Sunday holiday, there’s a bit less happening this week than on a normal weekend, but we still have you covered with plenty to do right here in our three-town radius.
If you waited to take those Easter Bunny photos, you still have one last local chance this Saturday at The Hen House in Glocester from 1 to 3 p.m. Many local businesses are closed on Sunday for Easter, but some will remain open, including Cady’s Tavern, where they’ll have their weekly Roadhouse Blues Jam; and The Island, which will feature special hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Johnny’s Victory Diner, which will have its “Boozy Brunch,” until noon. Uncle Ronnie’s Tavern will be open, and Waterfall Cafe will serve an open brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
However you spend your time, we hope that it’s great, and that you consider a stop at these local businesses.
