The North Smithfield Heritage Association will host a comedy dinner fundraiser on Saturday, June 22 at the Village Haven Restaurant at 90 School St. The event will include family-style chicken dinner starting at 6 p.m. followed by comedian Dave Kane presenting Jokes My Irish Father Told Me. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased at Village Paint at 900 Victory Highway or North Smithfield Town Hall at 83 Green St. Proceeds will benefit restoration of the upper hall in the Memorial Town building
