School supply drive

RE/MAX Host of Homes at 712 Putnam Pike, Unit 7 is hosting a school supply drive for Fogarty Memorial School, collecting items including crayons, tissues; #2 pencils; glue sticks; scissors; hand sanitizer; markers; sharpies; folders; colored pencils; highlighters; notebooks; erasers and more. Those who would like to donate can leave items in the 24-hour drop box outside the office.

School supplies, part 2

Reichert & Sons at 12 Money Hill Road is collecting school supplies for West Glocester Elementary School including crayons, tissues; #2 pencils; glue sticks; scissors; hand sanitizer; markers; sharpies; folders; colored pencils; highlighters; notebooks; erasers and more. Those who would like to donate can leave items in the 24-hour drop box outside the office.

Succulent workshop

A DIY succulent workshop will be held at Hill’s Tavern at 417 Putnam Pike on Saturday, August 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. to raise funds for Alyssa Iadorola to be a torch bearer in the Glorias Gemma Walk of Hope. Tickets cost $45 via Venmo to @lyss4464 with 100 percent of proceeds to go toward free healing and support services for breast cancer patients and survivors.

Yoga & music at the vineyard

Mulberry Vineyards at 95 Pound Road will host a yoga class on Sunday, August 18 starting at 9:30 a.m. Return to the vineyard from 1 to 4 p.m. to catch live music with Gooseberry Road.

Town meetings

The Glocester Town Council will hold a meeting on Thursday, August 15 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
