NORTH SMITHFIELD – A 32-year-old Burrillville man died early Sunday morning following an accident on Douglas Pike, according to a release from the North Smithfield Police Department.
Jamey Scheer of Burrillville was transported from the scene to Landmark Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Officers reportedly responded to the area of 535 Douglas Pike around 1:07 a.m. on Sunday, August 25 for the single vehicle crash and found the driver unresponsive. First responders removed the operator, later identified as Scheer, from the wreckage.
