BURRILLVILLE – National Child Passenger Safety Week starts Sunday, Sept., 15 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 21. Police departments here in the Ocean State, New England and nationwide are reaching out to kids and families about the importance of buckling up and using rear-facing booster seats all weeklong in their states, cities, towns and communities.
Buckleupallofus is being utilized by many of these police departments as a creative effort to reach and remind children directly about seatbelt and car seat safety. Buckleupallofus coloring posters, full color posters, four-page coloring books, fridge magnets and stickers are being passed out to children at car shows, community events, grade schools, libraries, daycares and car seat check ups, hoping to keep them safer while riding in family vehicles.
Please share this Sunday coloring cartoon featuring Buckleupallofus and cool hot rods for kids to color in and display in classrooms, library children’s activities areas, daycares, community centers and on social networks. Doing so helps reach many more kids reminding them to buckle up.
