Turf update

The town published an announcement this week regarding the halt of progress on the turf field at Burrillville High School, noting that there is currently a temporary restraining order in place holding up delivery and installation of the turf.

“It is members of the town’s Conservation Commission and the Burrillville Land Trust who are primarily behind this controversy,” the announcement notes. “All of this is costing the town tens of thousands of dollars and there is potential for much more in financial damages if this controversy continues.”
