Working group
A meeting of a local working group to help out the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District with planning and priorities for the year will take place at Jesse Smith Library at 100 Tinkham Lane on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

High School Musical
Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, Disney’s High School Musical opens at the Assembly Theatre at 26 East Ave. on Friday, Jan. 31. Additional performances take place Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $20 or $15 for children under 12 and can be purchased here.
Love Rocks
Burrillville Rocks and ReMax Host of Homes will team up on Saturday, Feb. 1 for a free event making a Valentine’s Day Craft from 2 to 4 p.m. at 712 Putnam Pike Unit 8 in Glocester. All ages are welcome to drop in for an afternoon of Valentine card making and rock painting, with extras to be donated to Overlook Nursing Home.
Battle in Burrillville
The annual Battle in Burrillville Cheerleading Invitational will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2 starting at 10 p.m. in the dome gym at Burrillville High School at 425 East Ave. Catch the Bronco cheerleaders in action at the home opener.
Survey
The Burrillville Public School District is asking Bronco families to take a SurveyWorks survey to help administrators understand what is working and what needs to be improved in town schools. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and answers are completely anonymous.

The Clear River Water & Electric District Board of Utility Commissioners will hold a meeting on Monday, Jan. 27 starting at 2 p.m. at 253 Pascoag Main St. The agenda is here.
