GLOCESTER – Glocester police arrested three individuals over the weekend following investigation of a 4th of July party with reported underage drinking that turned violent.
Two individuals residing at the home at 142 Spring Grove Road, Bryan Borzell, 48, and Rachel Hernandez, 37, were charged with furnishing of alcoholic beverages to underage persons. A third person from Smithfield, Alexander Borzell, 18, was charged with assault on a police officer.
According to a release from the agency, officers were called to the area for reports of a disturbance at 9:22 p.m. on Friday, July 4 and observed numerous young people pushing and fighting on the property. Mutual aid was called in from Burrillville, Smithfield, Scituate, and Rhode Island State Police to assist in the disturbance.

“Investigation revealed numerous underage individuals had been drinking inside the residence and outside on the property,” noted GPD.
A rescue had to be called for two underage females for extreme intoxication, and Borzell reportedly kicked a member of the Glocester Police Department several times while the officer attempted to locate the homeowners near the front door of the residence.
Hernandez was on probation for a previous charge in Smithfield of DUI with a child under 13 years old from December. She was held without bail on Saturday and formally arraigned in 3rd District Court on Monday, July 14, and released on $1,000 with surety on the new social host charge.
Both Brian and Alexander Borzell were arraigned before a bail commissioner and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
