Pascoag Fire vote
The Pascoag Fire District will hold a special meeting on Monday, March 23 starting at 6 p.m. at Station #2 at 141 Howard Ave. to vote on several proposed amendments to the district’s bylaws. Voters will also weigh in on whether or not the district will purchase and staff a second rescue. All taxable inhabitants in Pascoag are qualified to vote.

PD day
Burrillville Public Schools will have a professional development day on Thursday, March 26 and there will be no school for all students. Elementary schools will also hold parent/teacher conferences on Thursday as well as learning showcases in the evening.
Mamma Mia
Catch student performances of Mamma Mia this week in the auditorium of Burrillville High School at 425 East Ave. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 25 through 28 starting at 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15 or $10 for students and will be sold at the door.
DPNA Easter
The DPNA will sponsor an Easter egg hunt and shopping event on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hall of St. Joseph’s Church at 183 Sayles Ave. The event will include rock painting, free pictures with the Easter Bunny, children’s crafts and activities, shopping with local artisans and more.

Matida Jr.
Rhode Island Stage Ensemble’s performances of Matida Jr. continue this week, with shows on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 28 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
The performance will be directed by Danielle Pennacchia and Jen Lade with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin. Tickets cost $30 for general admission or $25 students, seniors and military members and are available at www.ristage.org.

The Burrillville Redevelopment Agency will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 24 starting at 7 p.m. in the community room of Jesse Smith Library at 100 Tinkham Lane. The agenda is here.
