Financial meeting
The annual meeting to vote on the budget for the Foster-Glocester Regional School Committee will be held tonight, Tuesday, March 24, starting at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Ponaganset High School at 137 Anan Wade Road. All qualified, registered voters residing in the towns of Glocester and Foster are eligible to vote.

Percussion
Visit Ponaganset High School at 137 Anan Wade Road again on Friday, March 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p..m. for ‘Possibilities of Percussion’ a free public event put on by Chieftain senior Kim Moreau. Join the Ponaganset Music Department for a night filled with all things percussion, with teachers on site for those interested in in-person sign ups. The event will include a raffle for a percussion starter kit with more than $100 in supplies.

Learn to Fish
Chepachet Grange at 28 Chopmist Hill Road will offer a free program on Saturday, March 28 teaching basic, advanced and fly fishing. The program is open to adults and kids ages 10 and up, and will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants must register by Thursday, March 26 by calling Marie at (401) 568-4219. Refreshments will be provided.

Men’s breakfast
Chepachet Union Church at 1138 Putnam Pike will host a men’s breakfast on Saturday, March 28 starting at 7 a.m. All are welcome to come and get to know the men in the community
Anniversary
Big John’s Wood Joint at 15 Money Hill Road will hold a one year anniversary celebration on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and discounts as you shop and enter into free raffles for a chance to win products. Shoppers can also Spin the Wheel with every purchase for a free prizes and additional raffle entries.
Eggstravaganza
Glad Tidings Community Church at 111 Victory Highway will hold their “Eggstravaganza” Easter event on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to participate in festivities including the egg hunts, crafts and other activities throughout the day. Hamburger and hot dog meals will be on sale to raise funds for the church’s GTKids program.
No registration is required.
Town meetings
The Charter Review Commission will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 24 starting at 6 p.m. at Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
The Glocester Zoning Board meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, March 26 has been cancelled.
The West Glocester Fire District will hold a special meeting on Saturday, March 28 starting at 10 a.m. at the station at 2410 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
