Cartoon by Burrillville artist teaches bike, skateboard and helmet safety
BURRILLVILLE – With spring fast approaching, local artist and traffic safety advocate Jim Weicherding released a series of coloring cartoons this week aimed at teaching kids bike, skateboard and helmet safety.
The series, created for Hasbro Children's Hospital, shows kids how to stay safe while enjoying outdoor recreation.
Weicherding said local kids may need a reminder on the issue.

BURRILLVILLE — Police have made yet another arrest in an ongoing investigation of pornographic images shared between students at Burrillville High School.
Brendan Cook, 19, of 100 Tarkiln Road was arrested on Monday, March 2, and charged with 16 counts of indecent solicitation of a child and ten counts of electronically disseminating indecent material to minors.
