The Assembly Theatre will host two events this week, starting on Saturday, Aug. 14 with a screening of The Sleepless Unrest, a new film about the Harrisville house that inspired the 2013 hit horror movie The Conjuring. The event will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and will include a Q&A session with Kendall Whelpton, Vera Whelpton, Brian Murray, Richel Stratton, Cory Heinzen and Jennifer Heinzen. Return to the theater on Sunday, Aug. 15 for The Assembly of Food Trucks starting at 5 p.m. featuring PVD Food Truck and live music by Cat ‘n Jimmy. The event is free to attend, with food and libations available for purchase.
