Northern, RI – Rain is coming Saturday afternoon, cancelling at least one major event scheduled to take place in northern Rhode Island – the Fountain Square Spring Splash in Pascoag – but there’s still plenty happening in our little corner of the state this weekend.
Welcome to The Weekend, northern RI, our weekly roundup of local happenings to help you make the most of your free time.
This weekend, Johnny’s Victory Diner kicks off BBQ season with live music on the outdoor deck, set to continue every Friday through the end of October. Pascoag Community Baptist Church will host its annual Armed Forces Day on Saturday, and on Sunday, highlights include a gravestone conservation workshop at Pascoag Cemetery and Bombshell Betties of RI’s 4th Annual Sunday Funday for Vets Classic Car Show at Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club.
As always, however you spend your weekend, we hope you enjoy it, and keep it local if you can to support our great area businesses and organizations.
